How about a very short LP hose using Bill's crimped O2 fitting and a 3/8" connector for the splitter? It would be rigid due to the barb if short enough.

I think I've got an extra of Herman's adapter. I bought two of them, but only am using one. Would you be interested in that one? I'll sell it at the same price, plus shipping, that I paid for it. (I'll have to look to make sure I still have it.)

Well, I've looked all over and cannot right now come up with that extra adaptor. So unless it turns up, you are back where you started.

Herman's adaptor is 9/16x18tpi to 3/8 inch, both ends female? Yes, with a rubber washer in the 9/16 end.

I'm sure I posted these before but can't recall where. Top Hookah L-shaped Hookah port adapter is one I bought new in the early 1970's and used for many years. It is a brass on brass compression fitting. The other two may have come off regs I was given but don't recall. They have a Nylon washer inside. I still use them on occasion. M

Herman, How about another run? I know what it takes to make one. So charge $50 apiece... Even so, it's break even.
