Here is a rare mask that I picked up and I'd like some information on it, if anyone can tell me more... The rubber is green and there is a brass band holding the glass. The rubber around the glass reads "Spearfisherman Wide View Huntington Beach California". I've seen this mask in black rubber, made by Swimaster, and later on, Voit. So I suspect that they bought the rights to it. But this mask obviously pre-dates the black Swimaster mask, and was probably the original model "Wide View". Does anybody have a catalog from the "Spearfisherman" company that I could buy a copy of? Dan

Dan, I think this reply was for this thread, and not mine titled "First Dives of the Year," where it was posted. So here it is: Dan, way back in the dark ages I had one of these. I believe it was by swimaster and was called "PACIFICA". I hated the damn thing. you would exhale to clear through the large purge and it would instantly fog. I plugged the sucker up with wet suit material and suit cement. That worked, alite rinse of magic spit and It was improved two fold. Not one of my favorite masks. diverdown1955
