Contrary to popular belief, most Americans still love, love, love Canada, so happy Canada Day to our friends above the 49th-parallel Speaking of which, here's a wonderful film of the same title: Tomcat Mark, you'd like this one a whole lot if you haven't seen it yet! Jaybird

I remember the good old days when we could travel to Canada and they were embarrassed by the antics of Rob Ford.

Happy Canada Day! I have such wonderful memories of visiting Montreal, Sault Saint Marie, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria in the old millennium. I once gave a presentation at a conference at the University of Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
I also loved watching the TV series "Due South" when it was on:
And finally, a rendering of national anthem "O Canada" at an ice-hockey game:

I think if the French royalty had taken things a little more seriously and gave Louis-Joseph de Montcalm: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis-Joseph_de_Montcalmwhat he needed, French and Spanish would be the dominant languages in North America and English would not: he seems to have been an amazing tactician. Anyway, July 4th is coming up in just two days: oh how I despise fireworks JB
