John, very fun: thanks for sharing that with us He sounds like a real character too. All too often people forget what it took to get us as far as we've gotten. JB

Also, di'ja notice he was wearing a Mae-West and not a BCD? JB Yes, JB, I noticed. The comment was also made that he took off his fins and walked on the bottom, just as he used to do in the 1960s. John

Some years back I acquired one of Jerry Greenburg's housings complete with working Argus camera. I put new orings in the control glands and the lens, and took a few photos with it. If I can just find those I'll post one later. I was able to get in touch with Mr. Greenburg on the phone, and he was very nice, friendly and talkative about the dates of production and other info I was trying to gather about my housing. He sent me some brochures and ads from the time, and hopefully I will also find them.
This photo was taken before a bit of restoration with age appropriate control knobs similar to originals.

Does anyone know where he lived? I met a gentleman at Jim Steele's shop who was an active diver in his 90s. Don't recall the name.

Does anyone know where he lived? I met a gentleman at Jim Steele's shop who was an active diver in his 90s. Don't recall the name. I have several of Jerry Greenberg's books. One, Adventures of a Reefcomber, Photo tour in America's first underwater park, lists on the back cover that his home was in South Miami, Florida. He spent years diving at Key Largo Park. This was as of the printing of the 3rd edition, in 1969. I also have several old photos of Jerry from the back cover of his books. John
