Guys, if anyone needs a re chrome on their DH regs, I recently used a place here in Dallas called Pulido Plating, pulidoplating.com. They did my V66 top and bottom cans plus the nozzle for $120. Based on prices ive seen, this is a great price and their work is amazing.

Damnit... another thing to save for. It was easier when I just assumed re-chroming was out of my hobby budget!

That is a great price and it looks like good work!
However, plating isn't strictly necessary, and you can have regs that work beautifully and look like crap. But you will feel bad about yourself and your ugly regulators.....
Let's start up a Rat-Rod regulator ethic!

While the above reg looks amazing, I'd be nervous to get the dang thing all scratched up from normal use...
While PY likes the term Rat-Rod, I prefer Wabi-sabi!

I love a beautiful regulator like that, but rarely keep them. I have a couple of nearly perfect regs that I'm reluctant to part with, but they don't do anyone any good wrapped in bubble wrap and sitting in a box.
