No worries. I knew it was a long shot. I’m in the process of building my first vintage rig. If you happen across any please let me know.

An alternative (and what I usually do) is a tank valve that has an HP port. I have a couple in service, and you find them fairly cheap on EBay. Respectfully, James

Lots of tank valves have an HP tap on them. I have a couple of 1/2" pillar valves that do, as well as a few Dacor K valves. You want one that isn't always open. A tap that's controlled by the valve is best. The long term effect of the SPG being charged isn't going to be good, and you can't remove it from a filled tank.
Also, the J valve port can be adapted to fit an SPG. Dacor Olys and Titan IIs have an accessory adapter that does this. I've made some adapters for standard J valves.

I just saw this post and didn't recognise your name. If not, please accept my apologies and a big welcome! If so, cheers! We'd love to hear about your vintage rig and see some photos. I want to let you know right off that this forum cannot host photos. We reached the limit years ago. Go here for instructions: vintagescuba.proboards.com/board/8/tech-supportI use both flickr and imgur. I think imgur is easier, but they are both good.

Both Healthways and Dacor made tank valves with an SPG port JB

That banjo went to Rob at the scuba museum, he may still have some on his site.

Seawolf and I were working and diving together back in the mid-70's. Now we are having fun getting his vintage gear going. In fact, seawolf and hgslick both got certified at our shop, and are both great folks! Seawolf, check out The Scuba Museum for his banjo selections. Then page down just a little and see a photo of Rob killing a watermelon with a Shark Dart.

Wow, small world! I didn't realize hgslick was from N Texas. AD, I found the banjos at Scuba Museum. I'll get one ordered.
With Antique Divers help I'm building a twin 38 rig. The cylinders passed hydro and I had them blasted clean. They turned out really nice. I'll post a few pics later today.
