In the hypothetical that I could only keep one of my double hoses, it certainly wouldn’t be a Dacor. However, I still love them and without Phil’s restoration and resale of these I may have never really taken up this hobby, so I’ll always appreciate them! If I had only one double hose regulator to keep, it would be the Voit Trieste that I have highly modified. It's a great reegulator. Right up there with it is the Mossback Mk 3. But the Dacor R-3 to R-4 was a project of mine in the 1970s, and brings back a lot of good memories. John

Screeeeeech! (Sound of thread veering wildly off topic!)
EDIT: This new thread is in aid of the need to keep things organized!)
My keeper would definitely be my NED HydroTwin II. Or my GL.
Or maybe the Titan III....
Then there's the 3D DivAir.
Dacor 2020?
Misuba rev5.
The Conways? SuperDeluxe?
Note the lack of Dacors. There won't be one on the list until I can get the C-3 with the Trieste type second stage to stop leaking.
Good thing I don't have to choose just one!

I think a “If you HAD to keep just one” thread would be fun!

I’m biased towards USD, so for me, it would have to be my RAM. It’s an easy breather, plenty of parts availability, and simple to maintain. RAM’s are the forefathers of many modern regulators including my single hose Titan. Next, would be my DAAM.

Sweet! For me it’s my Mistral with the Jack the Frogman shop stickers. In addition to the simplicity and availability of parts for it, the history means a lot to me because my dad went there often in the mid to late 60s. He’s the one who introduced me to diving and Sea Hunt, which ultimately led me here!
EDIT: that answer is for double hose. If I had to pick just one regulator in general it would be my conshelf + 109 setup

Hmmmmm? I think for me it would be either my "Diver Dick": or my first generation Scubiar: I'm having difficulty deciding which. Again, I can't decide which, my Divair: or my Scuba-model-C (gold label): JB

Currently a toss up between my Conshelf XII (bullet proof easy breather) and my hopped up DAAM (Cyclone/HPR)..... or maybe Most of A Scuba..... or........ lol

If I could keep only 1 double hose it would be a hard decision. I'd hate to give up my NED Hydrotwin 1, or NED Hydrotwin 2, but the best breathing reg I have is still one of my Snark 3's. I would put a long yoke on it for SPG use and dive it another 60 years.

Jaybird, I have that backpack. I like it a lot. What do you think about it? Very much! I like how snug it fits, demure I think even, perhaps making me feel more intimate with the rest of the gear... JB

I have the same Healthways backpack, only mine has two separate steel bands and not the "crossover" band. I love mine!!! I like diving it a lot better than the later "blow mould" tank packs. Mark
As for one reg to keep..I can't answer that right now!
