Cressi Pinocchio Masks, Rondine Fins Divar and/or SCUBA regs... Could have seen a US Divers in there too? I could not get a real good look at the regs to be honest. Think I saw a few of other Healthways Fins?, along with the Swimaster Duck Feet as well. Something for everyone. Healthways was mentioned in the opening credits though. Mark

Mel Fisher was the UW Technical Consultant on the film. His name is also in the credits. Mel started dive charters to Catalina when he bought the dive boat Golden Doubloon and it was run out of San Pedro sometime in the late 1950's (I think) so they could have used that as a platform for the divers and film crew. Just guessing but it makes sense.

Dang, that was a lot of fun! To quote my wife, "It's like an extra long episode of Sea Hunt, without Lloyd Bridges..." OK, so those were Divairs, not Scubas, there are US Divers regs as well, but I think at least there was a Dacor too. Really nice looking women in very cute swim suits, very cute! Oh, and di'ja notice the Seacraft packs!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!! JB

I agree with JB. DivAirs with HP mps, some single stage USD with straight mps, and I thought I saw at least one Dacor early on. As for the other vintage scuba equipment, not my bailiwick. I'll leave that to the more well-rounded vintage geeks.
Fun stuff, scubawise, but hard to get much detail concerning that. Any details the filmmakers seemed to be intent on seemed to be centered on the young ladies' "assets". It looks sort of innocent compared to today, but still.....

It looks sort of innocent compared to today, but still..... Errr, ahhh, assets and the region therein--YIKES! How the heck did that get past the censors? As I understand, they made a royal stink about Annette Funicello's swimsuit in all of her AIP-bikini-films (1963), but I think that was more Walt Disney have a a baby fit and throwing his weight around...
