Someone on a facebook group I follow is looking to ID the 1st stage that's hooked to the SP 109 in the this picture: It doesn't ring a bell to me at all, and doesn't look like any SP 1st I've ever seen.... Thanks in advance to anyone who can ID it! Best, James

James I'm not a Dacor expert, but it looks like it might be a Dacor 950 first.

I answered this on FB too. It was marketed by Seaquest, then continued as an Aqualung when they acquired Seaquest. I can't recall the name off the top of my head.

Perhaps this? From en.spiro-vintage.com/. Although I don't see the actual model name of the first stage by itself.

It looks like this first stage has an easily adjustible IP; is that correct?

After looking a bit closer, I think the first stage in question is not Pioneer, which is a sealed piston design with closed ambient chamber. SeaRat , Pioneer first stage IP is not adjustable without replacing parts. One noticeable difference is seen when looking at the Pioneer first stage body and parts #25 & #26, diaphragm and retainer. The XL first stage does not have the external diaphragm retainer (opposite the HP inlet) and the ambient chamber is open to water.
