Hello. I came across what I THINK is a vintage Aquala tunnel entry drysuit. I was told that the suit has been used less than 5 times. I can post a picture of this if you would like. I'm thinking of putting it on Ebay, but was curious what something like this would be worth. Also, how do I know if is vintage or not? It is black and says Aquala on it. Any clues? Please email me at mike@mikesscuba.com

Any tunnel entry dry suit is "vintage" simply by the design, and the fact that it doesn't have the technology of a modern dry suit (zipper entry, inflator and deflation valves). Aquala still makes the older style suits, and you can call them to find out more about your suit. I had an Aquala dry suit in the late 1970s through early 1980s, and my recallection was that they were made of green sheet rubber, glued together from sheets (rather than molded as a one-piece unit). To find out more, check with Aquala at: www.aquala.com/aquala.htmlThey still make that suit. John

Yes! and in 2006 I'll be doing tunnel entry suits as well.
