Guys, I need help with some Hope-Page parts. In the quest to make all of the regs in my collection functional, I need a wagon-wheel disk and a threaded aluminum ring. One wheel disk is missing and one of my threaded aluminum rings is stripped.

One wheel disk is missing and one of my threaded aluminum rings is stripped. If functional is the goal, I make ABS or PLA+ (plastic) replacement parts for the whole Hope-Page (my youngest and I have complete Hope-Page clones). Let me know if those parts interest you. Respectfully, James

Ty, I'd be willing to bet that it's not the ring, but the threads on the barrel of the mouthpiece. The way I fix it is to put a light coat of silicone grease on the inside of the ring, then, use some clear epoxy on the threads, then screw the ring back on. In a few minutes, you will work the ring back and forth so that the ring does not get glued in place: continue this procedure until the epoxy is cured This method has also worked for Phil as well. Let me guess: it's the exhaust side, right? JB

I know it’s the ring because when I flip the mouthpiece over, it won’t snug up on the exhalation side threads either.

James, if I can’t find an original wagon-wheel, then I certainly wouldn’t mind using one of your parts.

Ty, have you looked into chasing the threads? Spare HP parts are kinda like bullets: you always wanna keep the extras! JB

Those are original blue HW hoses on your H-P. I have one good set on a Scuba/Hope-Page. Mine are quite supple and flexible, and can still dive! Not many of them left....

These are also in great condition. They had a pretty bad set when I got them, but leaving them hanging straightened them out pretty well. I don’t think this reg would take much to get back diving again…if I can find the parts.

I don't think much can be done to fix the threads on the rings. The plastic threads are easier to improve. It might be possible to improve the threads on the metal rings, but it's better to replace the ring if possible.
That Scuba looks pretty sweet. Does it also have a good original duckbill and exhaust diaphragm in it? Also, I have all the parts and information you need to get your Scuba going. Email me.

You might be able to repair the threads by taking something like a pocket knife, nail, sharp screw etc. and running it along the grooves of the threads to see if it will raise them to where they were/need to be: it couldn't hurt to try JB
