Thanks for the thoughts above. I’ve not yet figured out how to make a “Y” off the mouthpiece, and when I went to Home Depot, they did not have any ideas for me. I need a “Y” that will fit on the mouthpiece tube, then branch out with 1 inch openings for the hose/mouthpiece loop. I’m still sorting through ideas. John Would something like this fit the bill? Rather than a 90 degree angle, I'd like to see only about a 30 degree angle. That way, there would be less turbulance with the Venturi. John

John If you can get me the measurements of the mouthpiece flange on the second stage, I'll tweak that bit to fit. Then I'll redo it for the 30 degree bends and repost for confirmation beforee printing.

I'll post it, but probably tomorrow. I've got a pretty busy day planned today.

Two different angles: 45 degree 30 degree

To bring the hose connections much closer than the 45 will have them start interfering with each other. As is, even with putting non returns in it there is a large "dead air" space.

Could you narrow the center section to eliminate some of the volume?

Could you narrow the center section to eliminate some of the volume? Mouthpiece flange of the second stage runs the full depth of that portion... On the 45 degree the hose flanges are as close as they can go. The 30 degree I could probably scoot them in some.

I'm not loving the 45s. The 30s have legs, IMO.

I have temporarily misplaced that second stage in the photo. As soon as I find it, I’ll forward the dimensions, probably also a photo.

Should be. I'll get the design tweaks done tonight, and hopefully printed.

James, a little off topic, but I was wanting your opinion, do you think FreeCad is possibly the best free CAD software for experienced users? Someone who is experienced with AutoCAD and Solidworks but no longer in a position to have access to those? Asking for a friend…😁. Luis or any others who might know, appreciate all input. Without me somehow hijacking the thread. You can always PM me. Thanks!

James sent me the 3D parts to convert a Dacor 1st stage + 1085 second stage to DH. It is really cool. I'll need to do some clean-up, but so far, all is good. I haven't tried it yet. James says performance isn't great with this conversion, but I think we can improve on it.

Dacor Olympic 4-800 series? Man, those things are getting a renaissance around here, aren't they!
