I'd like to replace the secondary regulator on my 'new-to-me' AquaMaster-Phoenix double hose with something more classic. Conshelf metal can regulators do look cool, but what is the difference (other than pricing) between a XII and XIV ?
I'm seeing XII's on fleabay at much less than half the cost of XIVs?
Once I acquire one of these beauties, where should I look for parts to service them?
Thanks!!

Hi John! The XII's yoke is rated for 3K, and the XIV is 4K: There may be other things, but I think that's the primary difference: hope that helps. Just get a XII, they will breath exactly the same, the second stages are identical!!!! Jaybird

Biggest difference is the number/size of the LP and HP ports between all Conshelfs.

Oh, and believe it or not there's also a difference between a XIV and a 14 too!

John,
I gave an answer on your SB thread, but I'll also add here that for the Conshelf seconds routine rebuilds only take a standard puck type soft seat and a -14 O ring. If the exhaust T is damaged, I can make you a functional replacement for either type. The exhaust mushroom can be sourced a couple places, but they are typically still good. Diaphragm is usually still good as well, but if it's toast (pin hole, etc) ask here and one of us probably has you covered. The only other likely replacement part is the nylock nut. If it's to worn for you, let me know... I have a few spares.
Best,
James

Thank you all. Conshelf XII has been ordered. I'll update when the goods arrive.
is anyone interested in the XII firsts (for the cost of shipping). I believe I'll have two of them

I love the Conshelf line, easy to work on and tough as nails (although plastic seconds on later ones arent my favorite)
