I acknowledge that the Kraken was a great, modern response, but unfortunately, it's over. Is anyone likely to take it up? Although I am sworn to secrecy upon all that is Holy, the answer is "yes." 😇😎

Hello Phil
The R2 is really from another age, and I wanted to dive again with the R4, which is really much more pleasant, it's not an aquamaster, but for a leisurely stroll dive, it is pleasant.
It was also the opportunity to use the resin pieces made by James. Compared to the original metal parts, it won't rust, and I didn't notice any difference. I'm going to do a few more dives with the R4, and James' parts.
I will dive again with the R2 but not immediately.
I'm going to post some photos of my dive and I'm going to make a short video.

As always after each dive, I dry the well the regulator, one of the problem that I meet with the DACOR DH, is that they drink sometimes a bit water, the diaphragm and the box must perfectly adjusted and torque ( not to much) and I think that the state of the box must also very important. So when I close the box, I pay attention and the inhale in the intake, after blanked the HP, to feel if he hold de dépression, before the last dive I heard that it come this time , that it comes from the inside of the exhaust horn. So I get a bit water...🙄. Cheer's Fred IMG_20240622_194319_484 by Patrick Michel, sur Flickr Cheer's Fred
