I am looking for the webbing and or blocks that were used on the USD Al 30cf "ABS" triples [bent manifold/valve on right side bottle]. I have no idea how they connected together or how the webbing was tightened. If I can't locate them to purchase, I hope I can figure out a work around.
Thanks for any information.

Here’s how the Cousteau divers rigged their triple tank systems with this valve and a double hose Mistral regulator. Screen Shot 2019-02-18 at 6.00.06 PM by John Ratliff, on Flickr Note the extension on the exhalation hose, and the inversion of the hoses so that the intake hose is over the left side, not the right side. Screen Shot 2019-02-18 at 8.00.20 PM by John Ratliff, on Flickr I drew a diagram on how the Cousteau system worked with this manifold. Note again the right hose is exhalation, while the left hose is inhalation. The right hose has an extension on it. Also, the regulator’s boxes are turned to make this happen. Triple tank offset002 by John Ratliff, on Flickr The offset shows that with a simple horizontal twist of the body, the regulator could be set at a zero point in relationship to the center of the lungs. Here are different harness designs by USD. USD Backpacks001 by John Ratliff, on Flickr Rick in Parascuba by John Ratliff, on Flickr When I was in the USAF, we simply used the “Twin Tank Harness,” or military harness, and used the tank bands to hold it in place. Tightening the tank bands over the harness secured it so well we could make parascuba jumps with it, and no slippage. John

Were you a USAF Para Rescue? Tough as they get! Love the duck feet, still have my '57 original amber gum rubber [sand cast] Duck Feet....put away so I don't break the straps!

Phil Ps...My ABS triple AL bottles have valve on right side tank... Yes, I was an USAF PJ for 9 years, five months, including a time in Vietnam. I have four pairs of original Duck Feet fins, and still use them in the pool at times. Two are the single strap, and two are the full-foot variety. 'Very good fins. I have a PM in to you about using your X-deep back plate too, along with the possibility of using an older USD backpack. Two sets of full-foot duck feet by John Ratliff, on Flickr I've done a lot of experimentation with diving fins, and so have quite a collection. A number of years back, I put them out on the lawn. Damned impressive array of fins! I had never seen full foot pocket duck feet....do remember with strapped DF if legs cramped I would turn them over and the top met the top of the foot at a different location to relieve the strain...
I have several sets of free diving fins, another of my passions!

Hello John
Thank's for your nice drawing !
Tripel tank offset reg. left and inhale left is the configuration for the old CG43 . Nevertheless I never recognized the advantage of the much lesser rolling angel .
Greetings Rainer

I have an ABS set minus the BC part -3 tanks, manifold, case and all the stuff inside the case. It's for sale but God knows what the cost of shipping would be.

Hi Phil, just so you know, our friend John has a book about his experiences as a PJ, and why he chose that path. Can we call you Phil-2 or Phil-II, one of our moderators is already Phil, so responses may get a little confusing otherwise Jaybird

Dorrance Publishing wants to publish it, but I may go to Apple Books instead, as there are probably some conditions and expenses to do it through Darrance Publishing.
