Seeking Twin30 tanks for Vintage US Diver manifold!
Tanks must be original 30cuft tanks (Luxfer or other) that are 4.8” in diameter and around 22” tall. Up to date Hydro would be appreciated as well. This is a solid body twin manifold, it will not hold standard 30s that are 5.25” diameter.
These are extremely hard to find, most often they are steel and not aluminum. I hope someone can help!
Thank you

I have an ABS manifold that takes 3 30's.It also requires the smaller diameter tanks. I found mine on Ebay. They were one here and one there and it took a while but I found them. Make sure you get the later alloy if you intend on using them.

..... Make sure you get the later alloy if you intend on using them. I agree with that advice! Luxfer has claimed that when properly inspected and tested to their specific requirements the older alloy is still safe to use. I say why take a chance when cracks are still a possibility. We found numerous examples of cracks in 6351 cylinder necks while doing inspections as long ago as in 1980's through 2000. Cylinders manufactured pre 1988 or so couldn't be improving with old age! Here's Luxfer's chart of dates certain cylinders began to be changed to to 6061 alloys"

Checked my barn stash and found two black 30's without valves, but they are the old alloy by a year or two. I'd suggest using only for display purpose, and would sell them with that in mind. Next owner would be responsible for how he used them.
