His the mouthpiece use by the French Navy, this mouthpiece can be closed or open, by rotating the big front knob. He had also an HP port, but 6/200 or 3/8? I will see at home. Fred, have you dived this regulator yet with this mouthpiece? I'm curious about how it performs. I have a La Spiro Professional Mouthpiece, which at one time I put on my Broxton. Broxton Dive 8-10-2015-2 by John Ratliff, on Flickr It is now on my Mistral (from U.S. Divers Company), with longer hoses. I'm going to dive it later this summer in this configuration. I saw this being used by Frédéric Dumas with the triple tank setup in the movie, World Without Sun from the early 1960s. They used this mouthpiece on very deep dives. it has no non-return valves at all, and so no restriction from them. John

Hello Phil, I just made one dive with the R2, (the one with adjustable IP modifications and OEM) , next I made a dive with R4 to compare these two regulators, two different generations R2 with no ventury, with the R4it is another world , this weekend i would like to try the guide that I received with the last box, with the seat that I have already. Soon I will prepare a R2 or R4 with James box cover and exhaust ring.... Coming Soon 😁..... Cheer's Fred
