I have a Royal Aqua Master and I just bought a DW Mistral. On the Mistral, I removed the seven metal tabs holding the body together with a screwdriver. I used a rag to protect the metal on the body, but, unfortunately, it still got gouged. Does anyone know the proper prcedure used to remove these? I was thinking about putting Scotch tape down or something similar next time, or using dental floss or wire to pull them up. I would appreciate any advice.
Sincerley, Stephen

Thanks for the great advice. It's too bad I didn't ask before I took them off. Actually, I saw a picture of Dan using a screwdriver with electrician's tape on it on his website, but I did not know that you had to sharpen the screwdriver. Oh well, the gouges aren't too bad and there are only two. I just hope they don't rust faster.
Sincerely, Stephen
