Hi everyone, I have just obtained an extremely rare Heinke 'horn' double hose reg. It was designed to get around Cousteau's patent on the duckbill. It is complete and in good order, but needs cleaning. It has a serious case of verdigris, can anyone suggest the best way of cleaning it off?
cheers, Jim

Vinegar works quickly and effectively. The cleaner mentioned in the above's link is very good for cleaning the chrome, also. And Broxton Chuck is probably getting tired of repeating, "CLR, CLR!", though I have yet to try it.

I use elbow grease and a soft cotton cloth and Blue Magic metal polish, some times a first rinse in vinegar.
