I finished overhauling my DA Aquamster, tomorrow it is the Mistral. I was wondering what you more experienced double hose people set the IP to, I set mine to about 125

It depends on what the tank pressure is when you set it. I set the ones I have at about 135 with 500 tank pressure. The Aquamaster 1st stage is not balanced and as the tank presssure decreases IP rises.

At 500 psi I set the DA Aquamaster intermediate pressure (IP) to the point where it leaks, then back it off a quarter turn. This is at about 140 psi. The US Navy Diving Manual (1970) says to use 110 psi, and the procedure we used at the US Naval School for Underwater Swimmers was to set it at that pressure at 3000 psi tank pressure (we were using the Navy double aluminum 90s at the time, and the rated pressure for them was 3000 psi). But a lot of us used the other method to make them easier breathing.
