  About fifteen years ago, my wife and I were up at Sequoia National Park and while drive through one of the canyons. We heard a very deep growl, and then WHAAA-WHHOOOOMB! Two AV-8's shot over us, it wasn't until maybe two seconds later I realized what they were, "Wait, why does that look familiar to me..." Kinda cool! JB |

We watched this dog last night: If you liked 1997's Starship Troopers, and enjoy charmingly-heartfelt-schlock, you may have fun with Starfrorce from 2000. It's so bad, that you can actually hear the traffic from the freeway in the background--NO REALLY! It was filmed in a quarry in a Los Angeles suburb, I think Whittier, Irwindale CA. Sill a lot of white water around the reef closest to me. Took a walk to check out conditions amid the gathering storm clouds. Took a few pics. Maybe better conditions next week.

M Beautiful scene! The nearest water to me is only 100 meters away, but it has the clarity of a chocolate milkshake. The turtles have to crawl up on land to check where they are. |

A great time with Mark (scubalawyer). We had a delicious lunch at La Mariana restaurant and bar right next to the marina. Next time we’ll do some sailing and drink mai tai’s at sunset. 🍹🍹🍹🍹

As I sit here listening to my wife coughing and hacking, I am happy! Last week she went to New Mexico on business, she sells assistive tech to school and came back with something that made her quite ill... Why am I happy? She came back from the doctor and... IT'S NOT EFFING COVID! She's been watching stuff on Yewtub of people doing Gary Numan covers. Here's a song I'm sure y'all know: As well known as this song is, most people thinks it's all electronic, but it ain't! As with the original, the drums are acoustic and it all floats on top of the very complex drums that you can hear, here: Anyway, I'm very relieved! JB |
