H2, that wasn’t one in Maryland, was it? If it’s the one I saw, you’ve committed something downright federal No Comment. Let me guess you contacted them for it ?

Some people are very lucky and it drops on them like rain ( You know who these people are. Large Diverse Collections ) They rest of us are scraping to get some of their crumbs.

No, but only because I was hemming and hawing over what would've ended up being a ten hour round trip. I wish I had, but I'm glad it went to a good home! Jacob

I wish I had, but I'm glad it went to a good home! Jacob I had to go to DC for work so drove down the western shore, so 6 hrs was not totally for the trip. Thanks for the kind good home remark. We ( my teenage son and daughter ) dive as many regs as we can. My goal is like someone else and do a course. My swim buddy and I grab a lot of used gear, rebuild, and pass on to people starting out that might not have the $$$ to get into the water.
If you see some thing over this way again let me know if I can grab it for you willing to do so. I have some friends that do that for me as well all over globe.

H2, I'm glad it worked out. Please do post some pictures of the haul on here if you can.
I appreciate that offer, thank you! Same goes for you if there's anything down this way.

A regulator or two have found me, as well. Mostly DAs for some reason. They seem to be attracted to me, and I'm only marginally interested in them!
I'm truly trying to thin out my "collection" and only hang onto the ones I've made into double hosers or modded too much for anyone else to be interested in them. There's about 10 of those, including the DivAir with the 3D printed cover.
Everything else will be up for sale, sooner or later.

On another note regulators take up less space than cars, boats, and motorcycles. I suspect most of know this issue as well. I was once a hotrod addict. I worked on cars 24/7. I loved engine builds and swaps, etc. It got to be too much. Later on, I drifted toward motorcycles. Results were satisfying with less time and effort. Got to be too much. Saxophones were next. Less time investment than motorcycles. Got to be too much. Vintage regulators? Awesome. 2 hours tops?

Couple of my latest acquisitions. I now have way to many LP small doubles; however. I saved another set from the dump. I think this one completes my HW DH series with the exception of the 1st all bronze DivAir.

Didn't really want this one, but never had a reg with built-in J-valve before, and it was all shiny.... Looks like 2nd stage has a silicone diaphragm so somebody rebuilt it at some point. I'll add it to the pile-o-regs to be dealt with in the future. The 1st stage looks kinda like a Calypso IV which had a recall at one point. Not sure if this piston 1st was affected or not.

I have a Calypso-J, I have not dove it lately, but if I recall it was a decent performer. Mark

Hi Mark, I think that one is contemporary to the Calypso III (same type). The Calypso IV had several LP ports. The ports where on a cylindrical swivel that made the regulator slightly longer. The recall may affect all of them.

M Mark, The HP seat and related cavity are the same as in later bodies. A failure of the small oring around the Teflon (or whatever it is) hp seat could allow the seat to move out of position, which could cause a restriction or loss of air flow. That would be an extremely rare event, but I definitely recommend installing the little castellated brass bushing required to satisfy the recall. They may be getting hard to find, but could easily be machined by guys like Herman or Phil. I could do it but may take me hours with my limited machining ability. I might have some left, and will look. I'll see if I can find the complete bulletin on that issue, and post here if I do.
