Hi Bill,
If you have any of those little bushing guys laying around I'd be happy to pay you far less than market value for one. π

BTW, on regs that were originally refitted dealers were requested to make a little round punch ding in the upper flat end of the yoke, beside where the yoke screw is. Removing the yoke screw you may see that mark if an alert dealer did the installation. Of course that was to save having to open up a reg that had been refitted.
After a certain date all the regs of that type had the bushing installed at the factory, and no mark was applied. I don't recall the date, but I think it was in early 80's. I think I can find the original bulletin on need to install the bushing. If anyone is interested I will post it (if I can find it in my stack of manuals).

This should help answer some questions about dates of recall affected Calypso and Calypso-J regulators needing the castellated bushing installed. Unfortunately this letter is undated, and doesn't supply the complete information of an actual retrofit/recall bulletin.
Basically this indicates that Calypso type regulators that have serial number starting with "0" will have had the bushings installed at the factory, and won't have the punch mark.

I have this letter dated 1979. P.S. I don't have no punch-ding in my yoke.

That tiny bushing would take me hours, and probably many $$$ in tooling as well....
I'm not looking forward to making any!

Here is my newly acquired Broxton. HOWEVER - turns out it is a Broxton top can placed on an AquaMaster body. Dang! Also got several 5-pound jars of crown blocks. Who doesn't need several hundred of those? π I'll post more pics later. M

That NIB non-mag is worth a small fortune.
I'd love to have that Broxton bottom box for a legit green label, as well as 5-10 crown blocks for other projects!

So, other than it being a French SH, is this anything of import or value?

So, other than it being a French SH, is this anything of import or value? the value depend of the interest, and the demand. AQUILON is the French version of the first calypso from USD. It was catalogued since1963 until 1978 so it is not rare. It is a good regulator I dive with mine ( a second generation 1964-1973), just one time. With good adjustment inhalation is really good for a reg of this generation, but with his little exhaust valve, exhalation is not like our today's standards. On second hand in France like the one on the picture 35$ , perfect state 180$. But there are many versions depending the country, take a look on "Spiro vintage". It is very good regulator, rugged, and reliable. But sorry for the value it would be better a received a CG45 with early BIG LABEL. Respectfully Fred
