You should give Jacques-Yves Cousteau, one of our Founding Fathers, a c-card in this. I never met him; but, the owner of the dive store I was trained at in doublehose reg repair, AquaLung Dive Center, Norfolk, VA was friends with him. I don't know if he ever had a c-card. I don't think he needed one. He died in '97; so you would have to send it to his son, Jean-Michel Cousteau.
Norfolk is where the Cousteau Society is located. I joined it back in 1984? I think. They were raising money back then to build a new Calypso; one with a wind sail. Very interesting idea!
Are you going to certify me? I don't have any specialty cards. Have a PADI AOW card since 1984; got my openwater way before that. I've dove with a doublehose for along, long, time. Gee, I'm getting so old I can't remember how long. I could also use a specialty card in underwater photography. You've saw some of my pictures. I use and own four vintage Nikonos cameras (well, my nik 5 really isn't vintage). The LDS wants $100 for underwater photo cert. I'd rather spend that much money diving.
Got to go. I'm late for an apointment.

I just read this entire thread -- intersting stuff!
Not sure why I'm asking this, other than it may (possibly?) help if trying to get on a boat where they otherwise wouldn't like you dive with vintage equipment, but has there been any more progress on this front? Any more people certified for vintage gear?
