Birchwood-Casey's Cold Blue...never though I'd hear that stuff mentioned in a vintage scuba page!!! ha ha! I've used my share of cold blue on various firearms related projects. It works decent if you do your part right. Mark

That might spruce the HP up, but I'm not sure I'd risk it. Check your gmail, JB.

Just a quick post that I will follow-up with on my Dive Log thread. I dove the hybrid Healthways SCUBA regulator, with the new double wall exhaust diaphragm in place, and the regulator worked wonderfully. Amazingly, there is no water inside either. The exhaust with the very thin, flexible membranes worked extremely well, and exhaling was as effortless as it can get. There also was no leaking of air in any position. This regulator now works as well, and perhaps better than, my Mistral.
I will be changing the hoses from the DSV Mouthpiece, which I'll put back onto the Trieste II, to a Hope-Page mouthpiece and Super-flex hoses. I'll test that combination out later this summer. The Hope-Page mouthpiece is now on my Mossback Mk3, and I want to put USD hoses/mouthpiece on it. Right now, that mouthpiece system is on my Hydro-Twin, but I will be getting hoses to fit my Hydro-Twin original mouthpiece (MSA hoses), and will switch back to the original mouthpiece for that regulator. Such fun...

Just sold two more Scubas, and bought another Deluxe.
So now I'm down to 3 Scubas and up to 2 Deluxes. I also have 2 Gold Labels (1 in pieces) and 2 Divairs in the Healthways corner. The Scubistral Rev1 counts for another 1/3 Healthways. Speaking of hybrid abominations, the new Deluxe is probably getting the Gold Label venturi valve tried out in it. I'm considering some ways to convert the standard valve body into a venturi type without modifying it. It would be a cover with the nozzle attached, something like JB's Snorklejet, only using an actual venturi.

I’m really enjoying this thread now that I’ve crossed over to the dark side. Anyone here on any current projects with their HW stuff?

I've got 3 or 4 finished Scubas, and a Deluxe or two as well. There are few Scubas in the HW crate that are going to get rebuilt and fitted with new exhaust diaphragms, air directors, and the like. Nothing new.
I'm still working (procrastinating) on a GL type venturi mod for the Scuba and the Deluxe that doesn't make permanent changes to the valve. I have had pretty good success, but not as good as I had hoped for (so far).
The Conshelf/Scuba balanced valve is working well, but it is only possible to do with the long steel early Scuba valve body.
There are several LONG Scuba threads here that I'm sure you're already looking at.
