I bought a lot of 3 regs that you've already heard about, which includes a crusty Snark III.
I'm posting this to add to the already pretty common threads about Snark DH regs. It's good to keep stuff current. Newbies might like a run-down on this pretty great regulator.
Photos of the rebuild to follow!

Hello, another possibility, but not with peacock model, (peacok is different than next model, the oprv hole is close from the body , there are not enough distance from the body to place a splitter), is using a splitter with an octo downstream valve. Like this, the octo downstream valve is also the oprv. Cheer's Fred IMG_4274 by Patrick Michel, sur Flickr

That's a very slick way to do it, Fred. Is that splitter metric?

Here are the promised photos of the project before the cleanup/rebuild. Very nasty. There's going to be some chrome loss. Note the inside out main diaphragm. It was installed upside-down! It's in very good condition, except it sags downward!

That's a very slick way to do it, Fred. Is that splitter metric? Hello Phil Standard splitter all in 3/8. On all snark, that I owned the lp oprv port are in 3/8 My Snark IIIs and Silvers have OPV ports that are M10x1.0. 3/8 x 24 is very close, but threads are slightly coarser and the diameter is slightly smaller at 9.45mm (10mm male end on fitting measures at 9.86mm). A 3/8 x 24 fitting screws into mine, but it is very loose. Are you positive yours is 3/8"?
